More in the 39 Clues series!

I thought that the idea of having multiple authors each write a book for the 39 clues series was genius! Apparently, they did too, because now they're coming out with a spin-off of the series- Cahills vs. Vespers.
The first book is already out, but check out the website at http://www.the39clues.com/areyouready . The video is really awesome, and it looks like there are some fun games to play on the site.

Hunger Games Trailer

Here is the newly released Hunger Games trailer. It is pretty good, but I wish it were longer! I only hope the movie can live up to the awesomeness of the book!

What's "Pottermore"?

Finally! Some real news about what Pottermore is. If you watch the video of J.K. Rowling, she explains that it is an extension of the books. It sounds like it will have content that was not included in the book as well as games and discussion boards.

It sounds like fun, so I'm registering even though you can't get in yet. I'll let you know if it's any good once they open up the site.

Want to enjoy some good summer reading while at the pool, the beach, in the car, a plane ride, or just sitting at home?

Ms. Eisele's classes using Glogster!

Ms. Eisele's classes are finished working on their Biome Project. We had a great time researching in the Library. Here are some pictures of us in "research mode":

For this project, we used Glogster, which was a unique and fun way to make an interactive poster. We had a ton of fun creating our posters!
